Poem: Single

Single She Hates Being Single... Because Everybody Singles Her Out... You See, She’s Living With Women Who Were Given A Spouse... While She’s Roommates With Infidelity And Living With Doubts... Every Saturday, She’s Playing Donnie Hathaway To Captivate Her Mind... To Remind Her God Is First, And That Men… Are Here To Pass Away The Time... While Her Friends Are Cuddling, She’s Huddling Around Her Little Cubicle... Saying That “I Don’t Need A Man To Tell Me That I’m Beautiful”... Her False Bravado Is Cute But Unusual… You See, At Nights She’s Out Clubbing Always Loving The Scene... Rubbing On Guys, And Always Touching Their Jeans… But Inside, She’s Craving Forehead Kisses... She’s Craving For 30 Second Hugs Instead Of Stepping In The Club... But Nobody Gave Her A Chance, That’s Why She Questions “Where’s The Love?” No Valentine, Nobody Who Grabs Her Mind Nobody With Heart To Steal Her Heart, And Come Past The Line Ain’t That A Shame…. Love Is So Infectious But Affections Are So Rare That’s She Stresses On The Daily, And She Questions If It’s There.
